30 Rock is special, but not here.

Special Features on the 30 Rock Season 1 DVD, Region 1 edition.

Five episode commentary tracks:
Deleted Scenes for nine episodes.
A gag reel including bloopers.
"An Evening with Kenneth" featurette
Two "Behind-the-Scenes" featurettes
Three episodes of the "Makin' it Happen" ten second sitcom.

Special Features on the 30 Rock Season 1 DVD, Region 4 Edition.

A swell sense of satisfaction for purchasing an inferior product.

Once again, Australia gets boned.
Sadly, I'm used to waiting endlessly for television programs, or having to buy them because they are never screened in Australia, and paying more for videogames, and having videogames be censored or disallowed entirely, and having overly-expensive and slow broadband, and having outdated digitial TV.
But why would the Australian version of a DVD boxset strip out the features? What is the rationale? It has all the episodes, but none of the other stuff, for seemingly no reason.
Given that anyone with a world-zone DVD player and an Amazon account (AKA any Australian who truly enjoys TV) can bypass this and get the un-neutered US release, why bother?
How desperately irritating.
