Seriously?

Here's something I spotted at my place of work recently:

If you can put aside the horrible quality of the photo above, there's something I just had to share.

The red square on the top right corner there? It says the following: 

"As Similar to Seen on TV"

That's right, you too can own something with a passing resemblance to something you viewed on a poorly produced informercial! Huzzah!

All I can see is the big "TV". I'd say that's what they're counting on, because at a glance your average frazzled housewife will think that's the one on the infomercial.

It's the same way bootleg toy companies trick grandmas into buying the cheap imitation of their grandkids' most wanted items at Christmas. "Lion King" figure, $49.95, or the very similar looking "Lion Family" figure, $19.95. Which one do you think a confused pensioner is going to pick?

I think I had one of those. They were the only ones I could "transform" without breaking. o_o
